Thinkwell Studio Montréal was asked to design a modern visual look with retro “Vintage Vegas” accents evoking the centennial history of Las Vegas for a renovation. The team provided concept development, technical and interactive design, lighting design, media integration & development and more for this major renovation.  The transformation of the old Fitzgerald’s Casino & Hotel into what is now The D Las Vegas coincided with the changes of Downtown Las Vegas transforming into a major tourist destination, which also triggered several other major hotel renovations.

Centrally located in the busy Fremont Street Experience, The D Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas now has a vibrant, contemporary vibe. Its moniker – The D – pays tribute to its location in the downtown scene as well as representing the Detroit roots of its owners.

This project was completed prior to Thinkwell’s acquisition of Réalisations-Montréal in 2019.  Réalisations-Montréal is now Thinkwell Studio Montréal.
