As Production Manager, Matt Lawrence will work to bring together the technical and artistic elements of the project, managing resources, maintaining timelines and coordinating with vendors to bring out the best from the teams and artists, insuring the highest quality of immersive experience for our guests.

Matt helps bring stories to life, create a healthy working environment for artists and technicians to focus on their specialties, collaborate with the overall team with the support and resources they need, all while keeping to schedule and budget. This requires finding solutions and navigating the evolving needs of the project, while maintaining the highest standards of production excellence.
Prior to joining Thinkwell, Matt worked in a wide variety of roles in live performance, from design to technical direction to education. As a design and production professional, he has worked with noted international performance artist Scott Turner Schofield, the award-winning Capacitor Dance Company of San Francisco, Harlequin Productions, and numerous local theater, dance, and production companies. His work has been shown at the Théâtre National in Brussels, the Théâtre de Lorient in France, and at New York’s Jazz at Lincoln Center, and venues throughout the United States. In addition to his professional work, Matt was the Technical Director and an adjunct professor at The Evergreen State College in Washington State.
