Royal visit to Harry Potter studio

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are to get lessons in how to wield a wand like Harry Potter.
William, Kate and Harry may be Muggles to the teenage wizard but they will learn a little magic when they officially open the Warner Bros studios where the popular movies were produced.
The Duke, Duchess and Prince’s visit to Leavesden Studios near Watford in Hertfordshire later this month includes a tour of The Making of Harry Potter attraction.
Props, costumes and models from the movies that chronicle the teenage wizard’s adventures will be on display for the royals.
Also invited are 500 children, and their parents, associated with charities that have one of the royals as their patron.
Harry Potter seems to be a favourite with the monarchy as the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall visited King’s Cross station in January to see platform 9 3/4 where the wizard catches his train to Hogwarts School.
The £100 million studios were the production home of all eight Harry Potter films, the James Bond movie Goldeneye starring Pierce Brosnan, the first of the Star Wars prequel films and director Tim Burton’s gothic horror Sleepy Hollow.
Before leaving the royals will hold a meeting of their Charities Forum in the Great Hall, one of the original sets from the Potter movies.
Chief executives from more than 35 charities associated with the Duke, Duchess and Prince will be present at the event being held on April 26.
